inspirations

While looking for an inspiring image to enrich a section of my website, I came across a striking photograph of a Redwing Blackbird mid-call. The delicate strands of fog or frozen breath escaping from its bill give the captivating illusion that the bird is in the midst of a conversation. I couldn’t help but wonder: What message is it conveying, and to whom is it directed? Inspiration is a remarkable force that can emerge from a myriad of sources—whether it’s a stunning landscape, an enchanting melody, the graceful flight of a bird, a poignant phrase from a song, a meaningful exchange, or even a single evocative word. The possibilities are truly endless. I’ve observed that I’m more attuned to the surrounding beauty when I have a camera, whether my trusty iPhone or my more sophisticated Nikon. Everything seems to spark my creativity and draw my gaze towards hidden moments waiting to be captured and explored.

Recently, I saw two signs that buzzed me. One said Raisins are Stupid and the other …Please Do not drop your Cigarette Butts On the Ground! The rabbits come out at night to smoke them, and we are trying to get them to quit. I could write lines about either. In this section, pictures, words, or songs that inspire. Anything and everything. Join me as we look at our world, perhaps with a different lens.
